Bharat Sarwaiya

Bharat’s work is structured in levels, with multiple elements directly or in-directly correlating to a singular narrative. It can be an ambiguous environment or something cliched mixed up with things that don’t belong together. The coherent trait is the complex array of entities interacting with each other in a unified space, at times bound by basic relationship of that particular moment in time and space. The forms are mixed renditions in pencil, acrylics or oils tied together with short snippets of prose, adding another layer of context to the composition

Bharat's recent exhibition 'Documents' is exploration into the disjointed, the abstract and the perceptive. An attempt to chart out everyday things interacting in unusual sets of parameters, reacting to context and subjectivity. The abstract and the perceptive intertwined with a face of subtle familiarity and chance. View DOCUMENTS
